Baptism is a sacrament of the Christian church marking the entry into the body of Christ. Baptism often marks the beginning of our journey of faith and many times takes place before we can even remember, while we are still young children. Children's Ministry
|
Our children’s ministry at St. Matthews, includes many opportunities for children to learn about God’s love and make a connection with others. Sunday School starts at 9am, this program is for children aged 3 through 6th grade.

Youth Ministry
|
St. Matthews Youth Ministry is for youth in grades 7-12. We focus on building faith-based connections with peers and adult mentors. We encourage our youth to expand their faith journeys through service, fundraising, ministry and social events and mission trips.

Confirmation
A two-year ministry where young people learn about the promises God has made, why God has made them and how this impacts our lives today. In order to understand this, we look deeply into the Bible to see how God has worked throughout history and still continues to work today, as well as how Dr. Martin Luther has interpreted the meaning of those events in his Small Catechism.
Confirmation is an opportunity to talk about the ways through which God is active in your life. Confirmation will help you to feel more at home in the church and teach you ways to be active in the different ministries of the church. Regardless of how old we are, what God wants for us has not begun and will not end with Confirmation.
